A practicing lawyer can appear for judicial service examination. The practising advocate has two options: lower judiciary and higher judiciary.
Lower judiciary: no minimum year of practice is required.
Higher judiciary: Minimum 7 years of practice is required.
There is no bar for practicing advocates to appear in judicial examinations.
