As per Section 58 of the Transfer of Property Act, Mortgage is the transfer of an interest in specific immoveable property for the purpose of securing the payment of money advanced to another person. A suit can be filed to redeem i.e. to get back or recover possession of such mortgaged property within 30 years according to Article 61 of the Limitation Act. Therefore option (1) is the correct answer.
