PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION

The exam is of Objective type i.e it consists of Multiple-Choice Questions. –
This exam consists of 2 papers. -
Paper-I: General Studies (100 Marks)
• General Knowledge (Including Current Affairs)
• Elementary General Science
Paper -II: Law (150 Marks)
• Law of Evidence and Procedure (Civil Procedure Code, Criminal Procedure Code)
• Constitutional & Administrative Law of India • Hindu Law and Muhammadan Law
• Law of Transfer of Property, Principles of Equity, Law of Trusts and Specific Relief Act
• Law of Contracts and Law of Torts • Commercial Law

MAINS EXAMINATION

The Exam consists of 2 types of papers:
Compulsory Papers & Optional Papers
• There will be 5 Papers that are Compulsory for this exam.
• The Hindi & English are of qualifying nature.
• There will be 5 subjects in Optional type out of which, the
candidate has to choose 3 subjects as optional.
Compulsory Paper:
• General Knowledge including Current Affairs (150Marks)
• Elementary General Science (100Marks)
• General Hindi (100 Marks)
• General English (100 marks)
• Law of Evidence and Procedure (150Marks)
Optional Paper:
• Constitutional & Administrative Law of India (150 Marks)
• Hindu law and Muhammadan law (150Marks)
• Law of Transfer of Property, Principles of Equity, Law of Trusts
and Specific Relief (150 marks)
• Law of Contracts and Torts (150Marks)
• Commercial Law (150 marks)

VIVA VOCE

Written Mains qualified candidates have to appear for the interview. This interview round is for 100 marks
